Longtime Dancing with the Stars ( DWTS ) judge Carrie Ann Inaba was noticeably absent from the Season 34 premiere on Tuesday.

The show kicked off on September 16 with hosts Alfonso Ribeiro and Julianne Hough, as well as judges Bruno Tonioli and Derek Hough. Inaba, however, missed the premiere due to illness.

"I wanted to share that I will not be at the show tonight as I am feeling quite under the weather," the 57-year-old said on Instagram . "I'm resting up and can't wait to be back next week in good health."

"In the meantime, I wish all the contestants the very best of luck. I'll be cheering you on from home. Have a great show everyone!"
