A woman has died after she was turned away from two hospitals with an insect bite, according to her mother. Greek heiress Marissa Laimou, also known as Lemos, was discovered by her housekeeper deceased in bed on September 11 in her opulent London flat. ‌

Greek media reported the 28-year-old had developed itching , dizziness, a fever and other signs of infection three days previously. ‌
