Police were called to Columbus High School Tuesday on a report of a student with a weapon. At around 11:00 a.m. a student notified staff that anther student had a weapon. The school was put on lockdown and Waterloo Police were called to the school. A search of the student and their belongings found no weapon and police say there is no credible evidence that the student ever had a weapon. The lockdown was lifted around 2:00 p.m.
