COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) - A man who works for a local recovery company was shot at on Tuesday night, police say.

According to the Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD), the victim found a vehicle that was to be repossessed in the 700 block of East Moreno Avenue at 8:56 p.m.

Police say the victim was loading the vehicle when a male suspect confronted him, told him he could not do that, and ripped the cameras off the tow truck.

As the victim proceeded to leave with the vehicle, police say the suspect fired multiple rounds, striking the tow vehicle.

Officers say they responded to the area and recovered multiple shell casings.
