A 22-year-old man was arrested Monday on suspicion of killing a Concord man who was found dead Sunday off a Napa County highway, authorities said.

The arrest took place a day after Napa sheriff’s deputies found the body of Salvador De Jesus Castillo-Hernandez, 20, with multiple gunshot wounds, the agency said in a news release Monday night.
About 9:40 a.m. Sunday, a driver on Monticello Road spotted Castillo-Hernandez lying unresponsive and called 911. He was pronounced dead at the scene, in the 2600 block of Monticello Road, and identified Monday by the sheriff’s office.
About 2 p.m. Monday, Napa County sheriff’s deputies arrested Bryan Gomez of Vallejo in Napa on suspicion of murder. He was booked into the Napa County jail and is being held without bail.
