Montrealers who rely on public transit are urged to plan ahead as STM maintenance workers are set to strike again starting Monday.

Disruptions are expected, especially during non-peak hours, from Sept. 22 to Oct. 5, unless an understanding between parties is reached.

Here’s what commuters need to know

During this time, bus and metro schedules will be restricted, the STM said: On Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

Buses and the metro will only operate during peak hours on these days, from 6:15 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. and 2:45 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Service will resume nightly at 11 p.m. until closing.

On Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays, regular schedules will remain in place and adapted transit will continue to run as usual.
