Patricia “Pat” Crowley, a Golden Globe-winning actress known for starring in the 1960s sitcom “Please Don’t Eat the Daisies,” has died. She was 91.
Crowley died of natural causes in Los Angeles on Sunday, Sept. 15, according to The Hollywood Reporter . Her death was announced by her son, Jon Hookstratten, executive vp administration and operations at Sony Pictures Entertainment.
Crowley’s death came just two days before her 92nd birthday. She is survived by her husband, television producer and executive Andy Friendly and her children.
The Pennsylvania native started her acting career in the early 1950s and quickly established herself in Hollywood, Parade reported . Her performances in the 1953 films “Forever Female” and “Money from Home” earned her the Golden Globe Award for Most Pr
