Ben & Jerry's co-founder Jerry Greenfield has resigned from the ice cream company he and his childhood friend built together, after nearly 50 years. Now, it's just Ben.

Greenfield quit as a result of a dispute with parent company Unilever , claiming it stopped granting the founders "independence to pursue our values," he said in a statement posted to social media by Ben Cohen, his former business partner.
