BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WHNT) — The University of Florida and the Southeastern Conference jointly announced Tuesday that an assistant coach has been suspended from three games for his involvement in a pre-game tussle with LSU players.
According to the SEC, Jabbar Juluke, associate head football coach and running backs coach at Florida, has been suspended for three games. The conference announced that it was due to his "involvement in an altercation prior to the Florida at LSU football game on Saturday, Sept. 14."
Before the game even started, players for both the Tigers and Gators had to be separated. Video showed players getting into multiple scuffles during pregame warmups at Tiger Stadium, including one at midfield.
