A Pair of Firsts for Two Pass Catchers
Though the Jets did not have the offensive performance they had hoped for Sunday, rookie WR Arian Smith and TE Jeremy Ruckert both got involved during the Jets' lone touchdown drive. QB Tyrod Taylor entered the game with just over 12 minutes remaining in the fourth quarter after QB Justin Fields sustained a head injury on the previous drive.
Facing a fourth-and-2, Taylor found Smith for an 8-yard gain and first down.
