Jonathan Kuminga and the Golden State Warriors are facing an expected separation. Even though the Warriors offered him a new three-year, $75.2 million contract with a team option, things are not looking suitable for the Warriors. There is no official confirmation of leaving Kuminga, but the possibility is high.

Kuminga’s trade saga complicated the Warriors’ roster plan this offseason. Kuminga initially rejected their $45 million deal because he wanted more stability within the core. However, the Warriors seem unready to commit to a long-term plan with the young star. In the meantime, the Sacramento Kings showed strong interest again in Kuminga and want to offer a large number if needed.
