WASHINGTON — Ben & Jerry's co-founder Jerry Greenfield is leaving the ice cream brand after 47 years, stating that the company's independence to speak on social issues has been stifled by its parent company, Unilever.
In a letter posted on social media platform X by co-founder Ben Cohen, Greenfield said the independence the brand once had was lost.
