Death investigations are underway in Lawrence, where two people were killed in separate shootings over the weekend, Essex District Attorney Paul F. Tucker’s office said.

The victim of a 2 a.m. Saturday shooting at 154 Essex St. was identified as Hugo Delrosario, 27, Tucker’s office said Monday.

Separately, a 25-year-old man is facing a murder charge for a fatal shooting Sunday night on Newbury Street, Tucker’s office said in a statement.

Damien Manuel German of Lawrence was arraigned Monday in Essex Superior Court on charges of murder, assault and battery, and discharging a firearm, Tucker’s office said.

German pleaded not guilty to all charges and was held without bail, prosecutors said.

The victim’s identity was not immediately released.
