Jerry Greenfield, the co-founder of Ben & Jerry’s, has resigned from the company.

The decision follows a yearslong dispute with Ben & Jerry’s parent company, Unilever, over the company’s public statements on social issues, including the Israel-Hamas war. Earlier this month, the co-founders urged Unilever to release them from the conglomerate.
