The Pittsburgh Steelers made the signings of linebacker Ja’Whaun Bentley and wide receiver Isaiah Hodgins to the practice squad official on Wednesday. On top of that, the Steelers announced several other moves.

The Steelers are signing tight end Matt Sokol to the practice squad, and are elevating defensive end DeMarvin Leal to the active 53-man roster. In a corresponding move, the Steelers placed defensive tackle Isaiahh Loudermilk on the reserve/injured list and released tight end JJ Galbreath and wide receiver Rakim Jarrett from the practice squad.

The Steelers travel to New England this week to face the Patriots – a place they’ve won just once this century. Pittsburgh has lost the last two matchups against New England – games that were quarterbacked by Bailey Zappe and Mac Jones.
