Donald Trump arrived in Britain last night, with the Prince and Princess of Wales welcoming him to Windsor this morning (Wednesday, September 17).
The US President, accompanied by his wife Melania Trump, are due to hold talks with King Charles and Queen Camilla this afternoon. Buckingham Palace has confirmed that members of the public will be unable to greet the couple during their British state visit, with all their official functions taking place within the privacy of the Windsor estate.
The 79-year-old's first state visit to the UK in 2019 reportedly cost the British taxpayer millions, as well as triggering protests and criticism. It is expected that the current visit could even surpass the eye-watering figure.
