LEAVENWORTH, Kan. (KCTV) - A Leavenworth man has been found guilty in an aggravated assault case from earlier this year.
Sixty-two-year-old Jeffrey L. Haddock was found guilty Tuesday of aggravated assault, criminal threat and interference with law enforcement for an armed incident at a home in Leavenworth on May 12.
Court documents say police were dispatched to a home in the 300 block of Chestnut Street around 2 a.m. that day. They were called to the area following a reported disturbance involving a gun.
The 911 caller told dispatchers Haddock entered the home and demanded her boyfriend leave.
During an argument between Haddock, the man and the woman, court documents say Haddock pointed it at the victim and threatened to kill her and her boyfriend.
