Youngstown State University has reported enrollment growth for the second year in a row following the start of the fall 2025 semester.

According to a press release, this marks the first back-to-back enrollment increase in more than a decade, with YSU seeing a 2.1% increase in total student headcount compared to 2024.

In addition, full-time equivalent enrollment is up 1.9%, first-time undergraduate students are up 2.5%, first-time graduate students are up 6.9%, doctoral enrollment is up 28%, in-state enrollment is up 4.5%, online enrollment is up 25%, College Credit Plus (CCP) enrollment is up 24%, on-campus associate degree enrollment is up 37% and continuing students are up 1.1%.
