BUNA, Texas (KTRE) - A new Waffle House restaurant is planned in Buna, according to records with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation.

A new construction project for the Waffle House has been registered. The $300,000, 1,840-square foot building is set to be built at 34947 U.S. 96 South.

A start date is listed as March 1, 2027, with construction ending in July 2027.
