Jake Paul vs Gervonta Davis set for November 14

The controversial Jake Paul vs Gervonta Davis exhibition bout has been dealt a huge blow after their proposed November 14 fight at the State Farm Arena has seen MVP withdraw their requests for event permits in Georgia.

According to USA Today, Paul's promotional outfit, MVP, withdrew requests for event permits and rule waivers - one of which being the weight difference between the combatants.

Jake Paul has fought up at heavyweight, weighing as high as 227lbs for his controversial fight with Mike Tyson in 2024, and Gervonta Davis has never exceeded 140lbs in his 31-bout professional career.
