SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- Saturday’s decreasing chances for rain might be good news for the Irish as they face off against Purdue.

Some may have noticed the pattern of wet conditions going into the Irish's games this season.

Both games so far have been tough matches, perhaps only made harder by the fact that on game day, Miami and then South Bend saw around four-tenths of an inch of rain.

This pattern is a little more correlation at this point because last year's team in the rain had some of the biggest blowouts of the season.

The Florida State game only had a trace amount of rainfall in South Bend, but Notre Dame won, 52-3.

Again, we are expecting rain to only be a slight proble
