Missy spent her childhood years in Hyde Park, and Lewiston, Utah. She was living in Tremonton, Utah at the time of her death. She attended Sky View High School and graduated from Bear River High School.

Missy had a heart and soul that naturally drew people to her. Kindness and acceptance define Missy. Missy was kind to everyone.
