Not too long ago, while dealing with constant injuries during her collegiate career, Paige Bueckers gave credit to Kobe Bryant’s teachings for helping her through. “ (Kobe’s) mentality, his approach, and just how much he dedicated his life to the game ”. With those teachings and a lot of expectations, she came to the WNBA as the overall #1 pick. And there was no disappointment in her performance, as she ended the year with the ROTY accolade. As she completes her first season in the WNBA, there is another athlete from Kobe’s final batch who has taken a step towards the W, as her NCAA career starts this year.
