LEVANT -- Treworgy’s family orchards corn maze is the best in the nation for the fourth year in a row.

They have been given the title by USA Today’s 10 Best Readers’ Choice Awards.

The family orchard in Levant decided to celebrate their 25th anniversary by making a corn maze with a “whale of a tale theme. “

They say it draws it’s inspiration from Maine children’s author Robert McCloskey’s classic book “Burt Dow, Deep water man.”

Co-owner Jonathan Kenerson says the maze allows them to honor both Maine’s agricultural heritage and the fishermen who are such an important part of the state’s economy.

Anyone who is working in the commercial fishing industry will get free admission to the maze this weekend.
