The New England Patriots' star cornerback, who suffered a hamstring injury early in training camp and was sidelined for 51 days, will participate in Wednesday's practice, head coach Mike Vrabel confirmed.

Vrabel noted that Gonzalez likely will be limited and do "some stuff" on the practice field Wednesday. But when asked if it's possible Gonzalez could play Sunday against the Pittsburgh Steelers, Vrabel gave a cagey response:

"Sure."
