Well, The Summer I Turned Pretty ended the way most of us expected: Belly Conklin (Lola Tung) chose to be with Conrad Fisher (Christopher Briney), her childhood crush and the older brother of her ex-fiancé Jeremiah (Gavin Casalegno). And while there remains a strong contingent of Jeremiah defenders out there, including on this site , the general consensus is that this was the right choice for Belly, at least between the two main choices. I’m in that camp myself.
