The Mt. Hope High School girls' volleyball team has won all six of its matches to date to start the 2025 season, the latest another thorough victory over visiting West Warwick in a Division II outing Tuesday night, Sept. 16, at Fitzgerald Gym.

Much in the manner they closed last week with a 3-0 sweep of guest Cranston West on Friday night, Sept. 12, the locals did the same to the Wizards by the scores of 25-11, 25-13 and 25-15.

Sarah Wilcox paced Mt. Hope with six kills and four service aces. Margaret Thorpe also had a half-dozen kills and served for two aces. Daniela DeSano led the defenders with 11 digs.

"We are defensively very deep this year," MHHS head coach Lisa Lunney said after the win over the Wizards.
