Tyler Robinson fired a single fatal shot from the rooftop of a building overlooking the outdoor venue where Charlie Kirk was speaking to students.

Robinson, the suspect in the killing of Charlie Kirk, appeared virtually for his first court hearing since he was formally charged in the killing of the conservative influencer.

In the meantime, FBI Director Kash Patel shared new details this week as text messages were released of Robinson allegedly admitting to his roommate on the day of the shooting that he had committed the crime, court documents allege.

The roommate of 22-year-old Tyler Robinson questioned him about the incident in a text message exchange.

Robinson first texted his roommate to “drop what you are doing, look under my keyboard” at their shared apartment.
