SHREVEPORT, LA. (KTAL/KMSS) — LSU Shreveport (LSUS) is hosting the fifth annual Conference for Young Adult Literature Louisiana on November 7 in the Noel Memorial Library.
This is a day-long event. It begins at 9 a.m. and ends in the evening with a keynote reception by young adult author Brittany N. Williams. Registration is $40 for the general public and $20 for students. Educators will receive seven continuing education hours for participating.
Brian Sherman, dean of the LSUS Noel Memorial Library, said, “The conference is aimed at college, high school and middle school educators, students in teacher education programs, literature majors, librarians, and young adult scholars."
