JOHNSTOWN, Pa. (WTAJ) -- After much discussion, the West Hills Regional Police Commission has voted to approve the next step to include Upper Yoder Township in its police service.
The commission of eight members voted Tuesday to send a letter of intent with the possible merger to the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development (DCED), and to notify the state agency that its consultants could be needed for further assistance as the eight members and Upper Yoder Township supervisors work towards a partnership, according to our media partners at The Tribune-Democrat.
