WINDSOR, Conn — Multiple law enforcement agencies were in the area of Park Avenue and Matthew Lane in Windsor Wednesday afternoon as police said a person inside their home would not come out.

A FOX61 crew on the scene spotted police units from Windsor, Hartford, West Hartford, Avon and Enfield. There was also a tactical team present.

According to Windsor Public Schools Acting Superintendent Dr. Noha Abdel-Hady, all students in the district were safely dismissed after police activity and road closures resulted in delayed dismissals. As of 5 p.m., police told Abdel-Hady that the situation was resolved without any injuries and that the roads were reopened.
