A De Pere woman was charged with theft by an employee after prosecutors say she stole over $100,000 from a De Pere business by adjusting her own time sheets.

What happened?

According to a criminal complaint:

On June 24, a De Pere police officer met with the owner of Creative Sign Company Inc., 505 Lawrence Drive. The owner told police that Maass had given him a letter the day before admitting to "adjusting my hours on my time sheet to cover my medical bills." The owner said Maass' job involved handling all employee payrolls.
