Next season will mark the first time Oregon and Oregon State will not face each other in football in more than 80 years.
But a multi-year agreement to restore the rivalry starting in 2027, as reported by The Oregonian/OregonLive last week , would keep the series alive through 2032, according to a spokesperson for Oregon athletics.
Previously, Oregon athletic director Rob Mullens and OSU AD Scott Barnes stressed the importance of maintaining the rivalry following the Ducks move to the Big Ten in 2023.
