Two years removed from its last state championship and on the heels of its third straight semifinal appearance, the Resurrection Christian volleyball team is off to a flawless start to the 2025 season.

The Cougars, who lost in four sets to eventual Class 3A state champion Village in the semifinals last year, are loaded again with returners at key positions and promising newcomers.

With a win over Forge Christian on Tuesday, RCS improved to 4-0, its best start since the 2021 team began the season 21-0.

It’s still very early in the season, but the Cougars believe they have something special brewing.
