U.S. President Donald Trump watched a military parade at Windsor Castle alongside King Charles III as part of an historic second state visit to the U.K. on Wednesday.
Trump, joined by the First Lady, watched a military ceremony of music and parading before the Red Arrows – the Royal Air Force’s aerobatics display team – completed a flyover.
A joint flyover with F-35 jets from the U.K. and the U.S. had been scheduled but was cancelled due to poor weather conditions.
The U.S. Army Old Guard Fife and Drum Corps were part of the performance on the East Lawn of Windsor Castle which drew applause from the Trumps and King Charles and Queen Camilla.
Earlier in the day, Trump inspected the honor guards, toured the Royal Collection, visited the tomb of Queen Elizabeth II and exchanged gifts with the King.
The festivities have involved 120 horses and 1,300 troops – including the largest guard of honor in living memory.
No U.S. president, or any other world leader, has ever had the honor of a second U.K. state visit.
Later today, the Trump’s and members of the royal family will attend a state banquet.
