Windsor High School is delaying dismissal until further notice on Wednesday afternoon due to police activity and road closures in the area and the school department said elementary and middle school dismissal will be impacted as well.

The school department posted on Facebook that all students and staff are safe.

Buses are unable to travel their routes because of police activity and road closures at Matianuck Avenue, Park Avenue, Matthew Lane and Pepperbush and Windsor High School will hold dismissal until further notice, according to the school department.

Parents can pick their children up from the Red Tile Lobby.

The school department said this will impact middle and elementary school dismissal.
