A 29-year-old Hartford man was killed in a shooting in Waterbury on Monday night.

Police have identified the victim as 29-year-old Frank Garay, of Hartford.

He was shot on Charles Street shortly after 7:45 p.m. Monday and died at the scene, according to police. A man has died after being shot on Charles Street in Waterbury Monday night, police said.

The Waterbury Police Department Major Crimes Unit is investigating.
