ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - Midtown Atlanta is buzzing with big festivals, but construction headaches are making it tough to get around.

From the Shaky Knees Music Festival in Piedmont Park this weekend to Atlanta Pride coming up next month, thousands of people are expected to flood the area. But along 10th Street, construction crews are tearing out and replacing old sewer lines - shutting down lanes between Piedmont and Juniper.

Lucero Martinez, co-owner of Zocalo Mexican restaurant, is feeling the impact.

“Once again, the street is blocked. I have food deliveries coming today, of course customers,” Martinez said. “It’s part of it. It’s like growing pains, I guess.”
