LEXINGTON, K.Y. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) -- The Lancaster County Coroner’s Office Mounted Response Unit represented South Carolina this week alongside the York County Sheriff’s Office Mounted Patrol at the 40th Annual National Mounted Police Colloquium, held at the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington, Kentucky.

In a historic first, the LCCO MRU became the first coroner’s office in the United States to participate and compete in this prestigious national event, which brings together mounted units from across the country for advanced training and competition.
