ST. ALBANS, W.Va. (WSAZ) - A man from St. Albans has been charged with possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, according to the St. Albans Police Department.

Michael Hoover, 63, was arrested and charged on Sept. 15, police said.

Police said the St. Albans Police Department Special Enforcement Unit conducted a drug investigation on Hoover, which included two search warrants.

After the investigation, police seized approximately 1.3 pounds of methamphetamine, seven grams of cocaine, 37 grams of marijuana, and prescription medication, according to police.

Hoover is being held at the South Central Regional Jail on a $25,000 cash bond, police said.
