San Diego is on the list to receive Target's next-day delivery offering as the discount retailer aims to narrow the gap with the likes of Amazon.
Target is expanding its offering to 35 of the nation's top 60 metropolitan markets by the end of October, marking 22 new cities this year, the company announced. San Diego joins Orlando and Tampa, Florida, on the list of new offerings .
Target said most of its items are eligible for next-day delivery. San Diegans will need to place orders on eligible items by 3 p.m. to receive the benefit. The offering will be free for orders over $35 and with no minimum for Target Circle Card holders or Target Circle 360 members.
That means that Target's next-day delivery expansion will go to 54% of the U.S. population, up from 20%, according to Gretchen Mc
