Rhode Island and Connecticut are requesting a preliminary injunction in federal court to immediately lift the Aug. 22 order from the Trump administration that stopped work on Revolution Wind .

The states on Wednesday, Sept. 17 filed a motion in federal district court in Rhode Island that asks Judge Mary S. McElroy to allow work to start up again on the $5-billion-plus offshore wind farm while their case seeking to overturn the stop-work order proceeds.
