VALDOSTA, Ga. (WCTV) - For almost a decade, Valdosta State football has had a pretty clear plan of succession at quarterback. Rogan Wells, Ivory Durham and most recently Sammy Edwards were either heir apparent or won jobs and never let them go fairly quickly en route to winning a lot of games for the Blazers.
But this fall, VSU held a wide open quarterback race to be Edwards’ successor, a battle that looks as though it’s now back open.
