GREENVILLE, S.C. (WSPA) - More than 100 parking gates in Greenville were damaged and with surveillance videos rolling 24/7, city officials said they know who's responsible.

Greenville city officials said this isn't just some random spike, broken gates have been a weekly headache for years.

"I’ve been here with the city of Greenville for almost 8 years, and this has been going on since I got here,” said Bill Foster, the Parking Services Administrator for the City of Greenville.

Car after car after car, city surveillance video showed drivers going to extreme lengths to avoid paying for parking.

Over the years, the city has tried different solutions including adding more signs, but the number of broken gates hasn't gone down.
