A Connecticut man has turned himself in and been charged with murder for a deadly shooting in Hartford , police said Wednesday.
Xavier Soto, 34, was accused of killing Miguel Alfinez, 38, on Friday night in Connecticut’s capital city, the Hartford Police Department said in a Facebook post.
Soto, a Vernon resident, was charged with murder, risk of injury to a child, first-degree reckless endangerment and criminal use of a firearm, according to police. He was being held on $2 million bond .
Alfinez was shot just before 7 p.m. Friday night on Broadview Terrace in Hartford, according to police. Officers responded shortly afterward, and Alfinez was transported to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead .
