A Georgia man allegedly used his niece’s rented car t o help him break into another vehicle and steal luggage inside, which included hard drives containing tracks of unreleased Beyoncé music, police said Tuesday.
Kelvin Evans was booked on suspicion of felony motor vehicle theft in connection to the vehicle break-in in Atlanta, where Beyoncé was prepping for “Cowboy Carter” shows.
“We can confirm an arrest was made in the larceny from auto case” from July 8, according to a statement by Atlanta police officer Anthony Grant. “Suspect Kelvin Evans was taken into custody by Hapeville PD and was booked into the Fulton County Jail.”
Grant added: “The stolen items have not yet been recovered at this time.”
