ALLIANCE, Neb. (KOLN) - Two teenagers were detained after allegedly pointing toy guns at students while driving past Alliance High School Tuesday afternoon.

At approximately 4 p.m., Alliance High School was placed on a “hold” following reports that juveniles were driving past the school and displaying weapons from their vehicle. One report indicated a gun had been pointed at students.

The School Resource Officer and officers from the Alliance Police Department immediately responded. Within minutes, officers located the suspect vehicle near 10th Street and Niobrara Avenue and initiated a traffic stop.
