Pennsylvania native Trey Yesavage made his MLB debut on Monday and was sensational in a 2-1 victory over the Tampa Bay Rays.

The 22-year-old from Boyertown struck out 9 batters and allowed only 1 earned run over 5-plus innings of work in the victory.

Yesavage set a record for most strikeouts by a Blue Jays pitcher in their debut in the win, and his family was in attendance to watch the impressive outing.

As you can see below, Yesavage’s family loved what it saw from him, and his father was fighting back tears as he exited the mound.
