Pennsylvania native Trey Yesavage made his MLB debut on Monday and was sensational in a 2-1 victory over the Tampa Bay Rays.
The 22-year-old from Boyertown struck out 9 batters and allowed only 1 earned run over 5-plus innings of work in the victory.
Yesavage set a record for most strikeouts by a Blue Jays pitcher in their debut in the win, and his family was in attendance to watch the impressive outing.
