4Philadelphia , PA – A carjacking suspect led police on a chaotic chase through Northeast Philadelphia on Wednesday morning, slamming into multiple vehicles, including a police cruiser, before being caught after a foot pursuit.

The incident began around 8:58 a.m. near 7100 Edmund Street, when officers spotted a vehicle tied to a carjacking reported Monday at 5200 Torresdale Avenue. When police attempted to pull the car over, the driver sped off and struck a pole at Cottman and Tulip Streets.

As officers approached, the suspect threw the car into reverse, deliberately ramming into the police vehicle before fleeing again. Moments later, the suspect collided with another motorist on Tulip Street, leaving both vehicles disabled. That driver was taken to a local hospital in stable condi
