ROSWELL, N.M. —

On Sept. 16, the New Mexico State Police Investigations Bureau was called to investigate a shooting involving the Roswell Police Department.

Agents discovered that on Sept. 16, around 8:09 a.m., the Roswell Police Department received a call reporting a possible domestic disturbance around Allsup's convenience store located on 2501 N. Main St. Officers reported a male as being aggressive with a female and pointing a black handgun at her, then placing it in his shorts.

When officers from the Roswell Police Department arrived at the scene, one of the officers found the male subject crouched and hiding behind a dumpster.
